About the job
You will be responsible for the overall financial management of our brand new Mario projectin 11 countries in Central Europe. You will manage sub-grantees’ budget plans and financial reporting, advice them on grant management, collect and revise organisations financial reports and donor reporting.

How we work
MRG works on a very tight schedule as we run several projects at the same time. At the same time, we appreciate authonomy and independence in work. It is a flat and democratic organisation where staff is highly involved into decisions.
What will you learn
You will learn coordination (at least 7 staff) to ensure timely financial management of grants allocation. You also learn about 11 countries financial procedures and administration. You will enjoy working in a multicultural workplace, meet people with different background. We have bimonthly TRI transformation, innovation and learning sessions, job shadowing and personal coaching.
Ideal candidate
Independent, well organised and staff may rely on his/her guidance and work. You will also coordinate 7 staff to ensure timely financial management of Mario grants allocation. Oversee complex work procedures as sub-granting to smaller organisations in Central Europe. Open, positive and willing to commit to the organisation values.
Advantage, if...
• Studies in accounting, finance, business, economics or administration or experience in the role
• Experience in working with smaller, grassroot civil society organisations
