2007-01Balabit announces the syslog-ng Premium Edition log management software.
2018-01Balabit is acquired by One Identity, a Quest Software Business.
2018-12One Identity named a Visionary in Gartner’s 2018 Magic Quadrant for Privileged Access Management
2019-10One Identity named a Leader in the 2019 Gartner MQ for Identity Governance and Administration
2020-03One Identity Opens Refurbished and Rebranded Offices in Budapest and the expanded Veszprém office.
2021-07One Identity was recognized as a Leader in the Magic Quadrant for Privileged Access Management.
2022-06All our security products placed us in a leading position in gartner's magic quadrant.
2023-01Participate in new product developments: Identity Manager, Safeguard for Privileged Passwords
2020-01The Hungarian sites in Budapest and Veszprém together have become the biggest R&D centers of the company.
2023-09Became an Overall Leader in the 2023 Leadership Compass for Access Management by KuppingerCole.
2025-06One Identity has started to develop its own AI solutions.

Our annual Hackathon always provides space for new projects to emerge, and teams are mixed so that both younger and more experienced colleagues can contribute ideas.

In 2023, as part of our Day of Service, we spent a whole day helping out with our colleagues at the BBM community farm. We closed the event so successfully that we were able to complete the tasks originally planned for November in 1 day, easing the Bike Maffia's goal of completing their community oasis as soon as possible. Last autumn we visited them again to help further improve the Farm :)

Every year at Christmas, we hold a charity bake sale to support a foundation that helps people in need. In addition, our colleagues have the opportunity to donate the cost of their Christmas gifts to charity.
