About the job

Cheppers is seeking a highly organized and result oriented Success Manager to act as both Project Manager and Account Manager for our international and local clients. This hybrid role is responsible for overseeing cloud engineering (AWS) and web development (Drupal, PHP, React) projects, while also managing and growing client relationships. The Success Manager will be the single point of contact for clients, responsible for both delivery and commercial outcomes, including the full sales and presales process (excluding outbound sales/hunting). The ideal candidate will combine strong project management skills with the ability to independently nurture client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and business growth.

Responsibilities

Client Ownership: Serve as the primary contact for assigned clients, responsible for both project delivery and commercial relationship management.
Project Management: Plan, schedule, and oversee all phases of projects (discovery, development, testing, deployment), ensuring quality, timeliness, and budget adherence.
Account Management: Proactively nurture and grow existing client accounts, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling Cheppers’ services.
Sales & Presales: Take full responsibility for the sales and presales process with assigned clients, including needs assessment, proposal preparation, and contract negotiation (no outbound sales/hunting).
Stakeholder Communication: Maintain strong, clear, and timely communication with both clients (primarily US-based) and internal teams.
Project Administration: Keep documentation up-to-date, write meeting memos, and ensure accurate project tracking (e.g., in JIRA).
Team Support: Monitor progress, remove roadblocks, resolve conflicts, and ensure effective team coordination.
Risk & Oversight: Track project time, mitigate risks, and prevent delays or budget overruns.

In 2019, several young developers joined us through our third Drupal Academy program. One of them is now our CTO. This story isn't unique at our company: at Cheppers, we've had the privilege of working with many colleagues starting from junior or entry-level positions, who have now become experienced, respected professionals.
