About the job

The purpose of the job is to help a) Minority Rights Group Europe (MRGE) to achieve their aims and objectives by providing financial and programmatic support to office program coordinators and other finance staff within MRG b) to ensure the smooth running of the MRGE office and provide administrative support and assistance.

Gross salary range 437 000 - 440 000 HUF

Responsibilities

Record selected programmes financial entries in the MRGE cashbook
Enter selected programmes payments onto the electronic banking system
Assist procurements and their administration according to MRG internal guidelines
Monitor, track and supply attendance information in order to generate payroll
To assist Project Managers with their travel arrangements

How we work

MRG works on a very tight schedule as we run several projects at the same time. At the same time, we appreciate authonomy and independence in work. It is a flat and democratic organisation where staff is highly involved into decisions.

What will you learn

You will learn working in multicultural environment to ensure timely financial management of grants allocation in Europe and Middle East. You also learn about 15 countries financial procedures and administration. You will enjoy working in a multicultural workplace, meet people with different background. We have transformation, innovation and learning sessions, job shadowing and coaching.

Ideal candidate

Independent, well organised and staff may rely on his/her work. You will also navigate among staff in different location around the world to ensure timely financial management. Oversee and follow complex work procedures as sub-granting and precise in record keeping and financial data recording. Open, positive and willing to commit to the organisation values. Stand repetitive and monotonous tasks.
