About the job
The Art Director at Shapr3D will collaborate with the Marketing and Product teams to define, develop and design the brand and communications visual identity that the whole company rallies around. You will be comfortable as you work on the design direction and creation of visual identities, creative direction for marketing/advertising campaigns and support of presentations and communications.

How we work
Daily tasks are developed using the principles of agile methodology and organized in Jira. Days kick off with standups, during the day any necessary meetings take place quickly and effectively — we don’t have a strong meeting culture. There’s space for to provide input when we’re developing upcoming sprints, flexibility to switch tactics, and independent work on prioritized tasks is encouraged.
What will you learn
We've got a range of in-house trainings to teammates, including a few hours' workshops on CAD history and CAD, software architecture, B-Rep and analytics analysis.
Ideal candidate
We’re looking for an exceptional Creative Director excited about defining and implementing a visual brand identity for Shapr3D. This is a high-impact, cross-functional role with autonomy and empowerment to affect change at the foundational level of our brand & communications.

About the company
Our story
- 2014We started experimenting with the first prototype of Shapr3D. It had a touch-only interface.
- 2015Our CEO dreamed big: the most intuitive 3D modeling app running on iPad Pro with Apple Pencil.
- 2016-03Shapr3D got launched with the Apple Keynote, and we spent the rest of the year fine-tuning features.
- 2017Shapr3D moved to Siemens™ Parasolid™ leading CAD engine, which meant rewriting the app from scratch.
- 2018We introduced the second Parasolid-based app version and welcomed our first investors.
- 2019We raised $6M backed by Point9 Capital (Revolut, ZenDesk) and Creandum (Spotify).
- 2020We won an Apple Design Award and released new features. Our team kept growing steadily.
- 2021We hit the ground running with launching the 2D Drawings feature and bringing Shapr3D to macOS.
