Life with us

Diversity across generations

Generations Together: When you step into our team, the first thing you notice is the diversity. Not only in professional backgrounds or tasks, but also across generations. Nearly 120 of us work together, including university students and interns. Some are just building their very first professional experiences, while others share advice and guidance drawn from decades of practice.

The proportions are just as interesting: Generation Y makes up about half of the team, Generation Z almost two-fifths, and Generation X represents around a tenth. Generational diversity is a natural part of everyday life here. We work in teams where the digital skills of younger colleagues meet the business insights of the more experienced, creating a true dynamic.

For growth, we offer personalized learning paths, organize short internal mini-courses, and often work in groups where we pull each other forward. Feedback is not left to chance either: through monthly one-on-one conversations and quarterly goal cycles, we make sure everyone knows where they are heading and how the team counts on them.

Our 2025 internal survey confirmed that we are on the right track. The strongest areas are flexibility, work-life balance, and collaboration and support between teams. These are not just words: every day we see someone stepping in to help, one team building on another’s experience, or different life situations aligning toward a shared goal.

Diversity across generations

Internship Path: From Student to Junior: Generational diversity shows from the very first step. We put strong focus on training university students, involving them in real work processes during their studies. In software development, for example, we partner with BME (BProf Cooperative Program), where students spend a full year with us, learning from senior developers, working on real projects, and taking responsibility. The program includes a structured bootcamp, onboarding, continuous mentoring, and regular feedback, helping young talents grow safely into independent, value-creating roles.

Internships are not limited to development: areas like HR also offer opportunities, letting Generation Z explore different career paths, supported by workshops and creative tasks. At the end of a successful term, a clear route leads to junior positions — over 80% of our interns have joined us full time.

This ensures professional succession and builds a community where generations learn from each other, creating shared values. Fresh ideas combined with experience lead to new solutions that keep our team competitive and attractive in the long run.

Operation and Impact: How We Turn Generational Differences into an Advantage

For us, diversity is not a campaign but a conscious operating principle. We build teams where different generations and experiences meet, because we believe this is where the most new solutions emerge. Agile ways of working support this too: projects often involve team changes and rotations, ensuring knowledge flows continuously and everyone can try themselves in different roles. Experience and fresh perspectives don’t just coexist — they truly complement each other.

The impact is measurable: in our 2025 satisfaction survey, the Net Promoter Score (NPS) reached 47, an outstanding result, while engagement scored 4.03, showing strong team-level satisfaction. These outcomes are not the result of isolated initiatives but of everyday practice: transparent goals, a shared knowledge base, and regular one-on-one conversations form the foundation. This is how generational differences turn into an advantage — a daily quality that both enhances the employee experience and strengthens long-term competitiveness.

Appreciating each other!

Green and healthy office. In our office, to reduce single-use plastics, we’ve introduced reusable food containers and equipped our taps with water purifiers. Additionally, we support the health of our colleagues with a bio syrup and tea station (to make sure they don't get bored of water-based options😉). Every two weeks, the office is stocked with fresh fruit, which our colleagues can enjoy freely and even take home any leftovers towards the end of the week.

Appreciating each other!

Fun and mental health-supportive office. We support our colleagues' mental well-being and relaxation with office board games, offering light-hearted breaks and connection opportunities, whether it’s a round of The Mind, Dixit, or Hallatlan after lunch. We also have an in-house library where employees can find or request professional materials that interest them or may be useful in their work. Every month, we celebrate birthdays in the office with a small cake.

Appreciating each other!

Donations and CSR. Every year, Santa brings a gift package to our colleagues, who can choose to either enjoy the snacks inside or donate them to the Santa Factory charity. At the end of our most recent kickoff week, we delivered leftover hot dogs to a food distribution event for those in need. We are currently developing our CSR strategy. Our monthly team-building budget can also be allocated to CSR programs. We participated in the Shoebox Campaign in both 2022 and 2023.

Appreciating each other!

Mental health. We offer regular one-on-one sessions in a safe environment where colleagues can discuss personal issues, including private matters. Flexible working hours and the option to work from home/remote work help our employees find a balance between work and personal life. On special occasions (Carnival, Easter, Halloween, end-of-summer, Christmas, Anchor Week), we celebrate together, play games, share meals, and chat either in the office or at external venues.

Appreciating each other!

Employee benefits. Our benefits include private healthcare services, opportunities for sports activities, and a baby care package for colleagues who have recently become parents. In addition to access to UDEMY and LinkedIn Learning, we also provide at least 2 hours of study time per week. As part of our internship program, our students can participate in the bootcamp developed by us, thereby acquiring the most important hard and soft skills.

How can the employees affect the company’s life?

Due to the leadership's open and transparent communication, colleagues feel empowered to share their opinions and ideas daily. They can also do so anonymously through our quarterly satisfaction surveys. In our most recent survey, employees rated their job satisfaction at 4.56 out of 5.

Why we love our office

  • The community spaces, renovated in 2020, provide a friendly and homey work environment.
  • We can enjoy our breaks in a pleasant setting, whether we’re having coffee, eating lunch, or chatting.
  • The office is easily accessible, and teams work in separate offices, with no open-plan spaces.
