Our story
- 2016-05The TRAVLRD brand name was established as a freelance web designer project.
- 2020-10Mate Karolyi started the first company as a solopreneur web designer and developer.
- 2022-09Establishing TRAVLRD LLC, a custom web design and development agency, registered in the US.
- 2022-11Winning the first web design award with travlrd.com, opening the line of many more awards to come.
- 2023-03Becoming a team of 6 young & committed professionals handling a growing number of projects.

We're a pretty flat bunch—no, not in personality, but in structure! Toss any brainwave into our internal Slack pot; we stir it up, season it with feedback, and voila! Better processes. Weekly stand-ups are our casual 'what’s up', mixing work stuff with weekend adventures.
Why we love our office
What we love about our office is that there's no office at all! You don't need to waste time and CO2 commuting each day, stressing in traffic jams. Instead, you can sleep more or do more exercise, whatever you prefer to spend that extra time with.
With great freedom comes great responsibility as well. You have to create a space that's ergonomic, cozy, and supports you to work productively.
