Our story
- 2008Cloudera was founded in 2008 by three engineers from Google, Yahoo! and Facebook
- 2009-03Cloudera announced the availability of Cloudera Distribution Including Apache Hadoop.
- 2015-09Microsoft Azure announced full support of Cloudera Enterprise.
- 2015Opened our development centre in Budapest
- 2016Cloudera was ranked #5 on the Forbes Cloud 100 list.
- 2017-04Shares were listed on the New York Stock Exchange under the symbol CLDR.
- 2017-09Cloudera acquired Fast Forward Labs (FFL).
- 2018-10Cloudera and Hortonworks announced they would be merging in an all-stock merger of equals
- 2019-01The merger completed.

Why we love our office
The office is in the city centre and there are many restaurants, cafes nearby. The VIEW is amazing.
We are all working in open space with many public areas to have fun in. We provide free food and drinks every day, twice a week we have catering, and also we have happy hours in a monthly basis and we always find time to celebrate with our colleagues and organising many other events.
